A bulk unload from Snowflake appears to fail to respond during the unload process. This issue occurs when you use Amazon S3 storage with the bulk unload process. You can see the issue by inspecting the zipped flat files generated in S3 by the unload process. When the system stops responding, it leaves one or more of these temporary ZIP files unprocessed.
The root cause of this issue is how the engine processes the temporary data files.
